Wire Operations Specialist

Job Description: Wire Operations Specialist (WOS) needed to complement talented staff in our fast-growing banking service company. Position is located in the Las Vegas area office working with BankServ personnel in San Francisco and elsewhere. Candidate should have excellent Organizational, verbal and written skills. Customer Service experience and knowledge of banking Wire Transfer and SWIFT processing are a plus.

Responsibilities will include: facilitating and managing existing customer relationships by providing support for customer production issues. WOS provides and maintains test procedures and customer test environment for customer requests to ensure servers are available for testing. WOS also operates a variety of electronic equipment and software in a networking environment, which involves knowledge of PC workstations to networking software. An ability to use effective analytical and problem solving skills is required as well as experience and knowledge of implementing problem management systems and maintaining all aspects of workflow, reporting and building a knowledge base.

Required skills: Candidate must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills; be able to multitask to support both internal and external customer requests; maintain excellent interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills to provide quality customer service; speak clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; listen and get clarification; responds well to questions; manage difficult or emotional customer situations; respond promptly to customer needs; balance team and individual responsibilities. Candidate also should be able to contribute positively in working with Wire Operations team members to build morale and support group commitments and goals.

Some national travel may be required. May be expected to work on some weekends. Salary is commensurate with experience.

Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
